I highly recommend Shaina/Little Shop of Hairdos! Since moving back home to NC in 2019, I have bounced between stylists, always having the hardest time finding someone who understands my vision but values the integrity of my curly hair. I don't know if it was divine intervention or pure luck, but Shaina commented on a Facebook post of mine where I asked for hairstylist recommendations and I loved her vibe, so I decided to book with her. I could not be more glad that I did! Shaina has an amazing personality and truly cares about helping you achieve your hair goals. She also responded very promptly by text when I had a follow-up question the day after my appointment. Getting your hair done is pricy just like everything else these days, but I think her prices are very reasonable given her level of expertise and the fact that her salon is completely private. You won't regret going here!

AMAZING! My daughter decided she wanted to cut and donate her hair. A quick Google search led me to Little Shop of Hairdos. Shaina was incredible throughout the process. She communicated with me about what we wanted, let me know when she had a cancellation and was able to get us in earlier, and was so sweet and attentive with my girl. She took the time to make sure, this was something my daughter had truly thought through and that the short style wasn't going to create a bad experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. ❤️

Absolutely love my hair! I went burgundy about a month ago and the color has held up so well. It's still vibrant and now leaning a little more purple, which I’m obsessed with. The cut works perfectly with my natural curls and when I straighten it, which is not always easy to find. I’ve had color done before with other stylists that barely lasted a few weeks, so this was such a refreshing change. Couldn’t be happier!

Shaina is the best! She makes you feel comfortable from the minute you contact her and when you come in for your consultation. She listens really well and gives great advice and then when it comes time to the hair appointment you feel like it's been no time at all even if you've been there for 5 hours! She is super down to earth and treats clients like old friends.I haven't had a true stylist since I lived in Florida 6 years ago and now I think I've definitely found the stylist. When I came in I really hadn't done anything with my hair and almost 2 years. I sent photos back and forth with her before the appointment and she got my hair exactly how I didn't know I wanted it! it worked with all my parameters and is growing out looking really good! I cannot wait to experiment with it more under her guidance!

I have been thinking of words to describe how amazing Shaina is, and I can’t. To begin, she made me feel heard, I *actually* had some autonomy with my hair and she was able to create what I wanted. A ✨artist ✨. That’s really all I wanted, to feel like I wasn’t asking for too much, she understood and delivered. As added bonuses, conversation with her was easy, not forced; we could be sitting in silence and be comfortable. Her salon style is as unique and beautiful as she is, I will be returning as a customer for my simple long layers again.
